Tom began his career in 1991 and has enjoyed several different positions since that time in both inpatient and outpatient mental health clinics. He holds an MSW degree from the University of Missouri, Columbia and is licensed as an LICSW. Most of Tom’s work since 2005 has been in the role of Clinical Director before becoming Executive Director for Counseling Services of Southern Minnesota in 2016. It is his goal to create opportunities for our staff to advance their clinical and leadership skills that will result in the provision of excellent mental health services for residents of south-central Minnesota. Tom feels fortunate to have so many exceptional clinicians and leaders on our staff and truly enjoys observing as they develop collaborative relationships, programs, and services that research shows will benefit our consumers. He also supports the staff’s commitment to further developing and maintaining a healthy work environment.
