Nayeli is a clinical trainee at Counseling Services of Southern Minnesota. She graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato with a Master of Social Work degree and is a licensed graduate social worker. She is working towards her independent clinical social worker license. Nayeli has experience working with the Latino/a and Hispanic immigrant and refugee population, providing interpretation services, bridging individuals with resources, and expanding community cultural education. Her experiences also include providing mental health direct care services for adults and children in group homes, in the community, and in their own homes. Nayeli works as an outpatient therapist with children, teenagers and adults, and as a school linked mental health therapist. She utilizes a strengths-based, trauma informed, and culturally responsive lens. Nayeli provides therapy in Spanish and English.
