As a clinician, Monique enjoys working with relationship-based strategies with parents and children. She also enjoys supporting adults to strengthen their confidence, skill, and relationships. Evidence-based treatments include
- PCIT (Parent Child Interaction Therapy), attachment based regulation skills for caregivers and children; Monique is a Level 1 Trainer of PCIT for Counseling Services interns and clinicians.
- Trauma informed CPP (Child Parent Psychotherapy).
- Reflective, relationship-based mental health consultation.
Monique is a 2016 graduate of the University of Minnesota Infant Early Child Mental Health Certificate Program. She is also a Mental Health Consultant in contract with the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
As Clinical Director, Monique enjoys seeing growth in people, and advancements in our capacity to positively affect people’s well-being. She’s proud to be a part of Counseling Services’ team of professionals who work to enhance the lives of people in south-central Minnesota.
