Jorey is a Clinical Trainee at Counseling Services of Southern Minnesota. He graduated with a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a Minor in Biology from Minnesota State University, Mankato. 

Jorey works primarily with adolescent and adult populations. He has experience working anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, severe and persistent mental illness, as well as LGBTQ+ related issues. He is currently being trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), certified in Managing Adaptive Practices (MAP), and uses person-centered approaches.

 Jorey works together with clients to create a safe, supportive, and positive therapeutic relationship. In addition to his work within the CSSM office, Jorey also provides therapy services to high school students through the School-Linked Mental Health Services (SLMHS) program.
